I love beautifully hand crafted toys and teddies... There is something extra special about items that have been lovingly handmade. I am constantly looking through Esty and notonthehighstreet.com for unique items.

I can't resist crochet or knitted baby items as well, there is something very timeless about them. Items like the ones that Bitzas sells on Etsy (click here to see the full range of handmade items available).

In fact I now have one handmade hippo from Bitzas to giveaway!

The hippo is made of washable acrylic yarn and stuffed with polyester fibre fill. All features are hand embroidered so there are no loose pieces that could be a choking hazard.
